Official Vidyarambham for the kiddos were done on Vijayadasami day. Achan and amma came from Chry in the morning and we made their study path official along with Vijayan uncle and Sudha aunty.

Devu - The Angel Brat

Devutta is a brat and an angel in one piece. She is so loving, caring and easily gets affected if one of our face changes including her sisters. But she is notorious and extremely dangerous. The way she does things and the dangerous moves she makes scares the S... Out of me...
No wonder she got the name " Chattambi" - the little thug, even ichippi calls her by that name. Yesterday while on our way back from Appachis house Devu was telling me " Njan Chattambi alla, nalla kuttiyaa, chakkarakuttiya" ente chakkaravaava....

She always gets the maximum scolding from me.....

Mumbai Traffic

What to mention....Mumbai traffic is pathetic...to cover 13km it might take anywhere between 1 - 2 hrs...
Today an interesting episode happpened while I was commuting to office. The normal way of driving in Mumbai is not to obey any traffic rules, except when the cop is watching. Today one Santro guy was taking his car through a taraffic block and by doing that scratched the rear view mirrors of multiple car including Joysans and he drove past all of us very quickly so no one could do a thing.
Then within half a km, he got stuck in another block. My driver wanted to go after him, but I stopped him. Then another driver came out of his car and ran towards this guy, opened his door....and...i thought he was going to hit him....instead he forcefully took the speedy guys car keys and ran back...wow...the speedy guy was stuck with his car in the middle of the busy road with no keys...
What a way to protest...he finally got his keys after apologizing....
