Parents at PDX

I remember the last time I was here at the same seat in the PDX airport to pick my parents up when they were coming from NJ, 4 years back. I was very upset at that time since we were getting desperate to have babies. Now we are blessed with sweet twins...But other tensions still there one way or other... And thats life I think, atleast it is mine...

Ishus acidity

Ishu for the last couple of days was not letting me have a good nights sleepas she used to wake up crying every now and then. So I was going to office very tired and coffee was the only th ing keeping me awake. One night I was so pissed off at her but was really sorry for her the next day. We called the doctor and they asked us to cut down on dairy and wheat. We think it could be the whole weat pasta which is causing this, maybe along with the mozarella cheese.

K's Performance review

I had already warned one of my employee K that his semester review wont be that great, if he wont focus on evrything. So finally today I sat down with him to share the results. I gave him a shock of his life by mentioining that he is not going to get neither a bonus nor a hike. I explained the reasons and he agreed. I saw a totally different K who was accepting his mistakes without going into the defensive mode. So I finished the review and said goodbye to him. He stepped out of my office and within a few minutes I called him back and shared his monetary details. He was really happy to see that and was overwhelmed....Hope he got the message clear...While leaving my office he assured me that he will be back on track....

Books & Bloks

The twins never had a favorite toy.But now adays a few things seems to grab their attention more.

1.Books

Books,the big picture board books are a big hit in our house.Ishu was always interested in books.She hates the small board books,period.Devu didnt care for books at all;neither big nor the small ones.She used books mainly to throw,bend or stand on to reach stuff.She started to notice books about a month ago and seems fascinated by them.Two of the fav seems to be the My first word and number book.

2.Bloks..

Devu loves them.It is the only thing that grabs her concentration and interest for long time.

2.Aquadoodle

The one where you can paint with water..Ishu loves it..She says that she drawing poova(flower) and bathataa(butterfly).I love love love the aquadoodle.Its awesome for a lousy sketcher.Somehow my doodles comes out good too.

Seems like I have a few things in order with which i can bribe them,HA!!!!!

And its back,sigh!

The tears shedded in regards to the carseat,car and travel.We really thought that Devu's anxiety with cars was over for good. But it came back with a bang.


Last weekend we drove around town with a screaming baby for 2 hrs.She was nonstop.
This weekend we didn't even make it to the carseat.Devu started bawling as soon as I took her to the garage after getting her dressed up.

Childrens park

The twins are 18 mosold ,but they have never been to a children's park until last week.The major reason is that I am lazy and overcautious.

Devu did not like the swings nor did she want to get out of her stroller.Ishu wasn't huge fan of the swing either ,but she sat on our lap and tried it once. Devu got scared for Ishu and got us off out the swing by shrieking on the top of her lungs.

They loved the slides and tunnel, but got distracted by the wood chips on the ground..

Smallest plane

If you were wondering what the hell is that, that was the first sms I got from my babies...Yes, the first ever, from Lekshmi's phone.. We both dont know how they did it...Millions more to come from them when they are in their teens....
