Relocation 2011

2004 relocation decision trigger points:
- US dream, to work in the dreamland
- Airtel outsourcing to Ericsson - had so many doubts about the process and was not interested to work for the vendor
- Perception of US life

2011 relocation decision trigger points
- ATT TMO acquisition uncertainty
- Support to raise 2 small babies
- Health issues
- Perception of Indian support system
- Presence of Manju and Joy along with Kochachan and Kochamma

I know this is a life changing decision and considered all the available options and facts that I could think and see within a human framework. Every person I talked to along with all the indications that I got from the eternal power, everything is prompting or directing me to go to India at this point in life.
And Inspire of the never ending love for this great nation USA, with a heavy heart, and tearful eyes, Weighing family welfare as the most important thing without suffering too much on the career side, I Made the decision to relocate to India, for a few years and if things go better, will look at a long term commitment to the mother land.....

A pencil+toddler mouth =

A SCARY BLOODY scene .

Last weekend Devu was happily eating crayons when I replaced it with her color pencil so that she couldnt eat it.In her attempt to get off of the bed,the pencil jabbed right into her mouth.I couldn't see her teeth because they disappeared into a mouth filled with blood.

M tried to pour some water in her mouth which led to panic, followed by vomitting a huge amount of blood.Somehow he got her to relax (I still dont know how he managed to do that)and offered her ice old water as suggested by Achan bringing the blood low from-the cut to a stop..

M took a look into her mouth and his face said it all.I started bawling.She was cut in two different regions in her mouth,both pretty deep and long wounds.The ped asked us to wait it out 24 hrs to see for any signs of infections.

It's been a tough week for the poor kiddo.She refused the process of eating and drinking most of the time.Thankfully,the wound looks much better.


As of lastweekend,this house is pencil free.

A letter to a ROBOT

Dear Roomba,

I was so excited to bring you to our home,but I am so disappointed.You cannot except to me stop everything and clean your brushes umpteen number of times.If I had that kind of energy ,I would have tried to potty train the toddlers.

SHAME ON YOU!!!Shame on you for the nauseating repetition "error 2 clean the brushes ,clean the brushes"blaha blah blah when a simple thread sticks to your brush..So Kunju,That's right,I even named you.Your stay with us will be over this weekend.

Ishus acidity

Ok, so after waiting for more than 2 weeks and trying out various food options, I finally decided to take her blood tests to rule out any kind of Gluten issue. After switching to Almond milk she was doing fine except for the days she had wheat stuff and hence the confusion. So took her in to the lab after Lekshmi setting up the appointment and all. It was a real bad experience as she frisked out big time and was crying out real hard, so they had to have two technicians draw her blood. Both Lekshmi and I were really upset seeing the poor little crying like this. Sorry Ichu, acha had to do this to rule things out....Now waiting for the results....

Ipad2

Yep, I did it, inspite of being an ardent fan of Android goodness, I was sucked into the corporate giant Apple. When one of my colleagues showed me the Ipad2, couldnt resist the temptation of buying one. Started tracking the iPad inventory and got one of the Wifi 32gb model from Best buy...Love it... What an awesome piece of hardware, no wonder they are selling this product in millions...but I still hate iTunes big time....

Losing weight

If it would have been me there would have been a happy dance!!
Its not ;its my Ichipi.The lack of fat in the dairy is really making her light.On the very bright side her tummy is doing much better .

We are trying lots of olive oil,potatoes,avacado and almond milk.
But being the picky eater that she is,its really a challenge.
